OrbWars - a real-time strategy (RTS) game set in space which pits you against the rest of the galaxy in the search for the Orbs.
OrbWars is FREE to play, and you don't need any special plugins or extra software, as it plays right in your browser.
Construction, Research and Shipyard commands all take place in their own screens. You can get to each of these sections through the menubar. Performing research is vital to your progress in OrbWars. Completing research allows new technologies to be constructed and ultimately for better starships to be produced. To perform a piece of research, simply click the Build link next to the research you would like to work on. Construction works the same way as research. Note you can cancel both at any time, for a full refund, though you will then need to start the research from the beginning if you wiish to resume it. Completed construction and research projects are listed underneath the available projects. Shipyards allow you to produce new ships. Type in the number of each ship type you want to build, select a shipyard to build them at (your Homeworld is the default, and only place at the beginning) and then click the Build button. Starship productions can also be cancelled if you change your mind. You will again recieve a full refund.
