“The lands we christened ‘Devoro' lay vast ahead of us, full of mystery and unknown. Something that puzzled me throughout my explorations there was just what brought about these diverse, species to fight so viciously over their rich land. Two years into my journey, whilst settling on the small island of Tiskal, we made a remarkable discovery. The discovery was made just above Tiskal, on a strange creature-shaped island which as to this day remains unnamed. On this little sanctuary, in sight of Erabor, we hit metaphorical gold! We halted our excavations and made off with our priceless item before anyone could claim it. The scroll was bound in leather and made from paper that felt like silk, yet had a slight fluorescent, perhaps even magical tinge to it. The writing upon them seemed to chronicle the beginnings and origins of these lands. Make what of them you will.”
